# Forensic Master vs Shopping Quest

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Shopping Quest at 46% against Forensic Master's 6%. Shopping Quest also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 6 weeks) and rating (4.7 vs 4.3). Forensic Master's advantage is ratings volume (43K vs 4.5K) and iOS requirement (12.5 vs 14.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Forensic Master sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Shopping Quest sells 8 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Shopping Quest holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Forensic Master has 43K ratings behind it against 4.5K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 6% of Forensic Master's written reviews are positive against 46% of Shopping Quest's.

Forensic Master ships an update every 6 weeks, Shopping Quest every 5 days. Both last shipped on October 21, 2026.
