Arizona Game and Fish’s E-Tagging App syncs your licenses and tags to the app and allows hunters to electronically tag their harvest in the field. Digital licenses and tags display key hunter information—including physical description, residency, address, and legal hunt details—and can be shown to law enforcement for verification in the field. By opting into the paperless E-Tag option, hunters can store all licenses and tags in the app, complete the electronic tagging process, enter harvest transportation details, and submit their harvest survey information. This modernized system improves customer convenience, supports effective law enforcement, and provides higher-quality harvest data to biologists and commissioners to ensure responsible wildlife management.

About

First Light

Features

First Light calculates legal shooting hours — sunrise and sunset plus a configurable offset — entirely on your device. No network connection required, ever, which matters because most competing hunting-hours apps need a signal at least once to load their data. How it works: 1. Tap "Use my location" (or enter coordinates manually for a spot you're scouting ahead of time). 2. First Light computes sunrise, sunset, and the legal shooting-hours window for that location using its GPS coordinates — no server round trip. 3. Check today's window at a glance, or scroll a 7-day outlook to plan ahead. Each day also gets a game-activity rating from its solunar periods (the hours when the moon is overhead or underfoot) and, whenever you have a signal, the forecast: a falling barometer, wind and temperature. Treat the rating as hunting lore turned into a number, not a promise; the legal-hours math never leans on it. The default offset is 30 minutes before sunrise / after sunset, the common federal-style norm — adjustable in-app since exact legal offsets vary by state and species. Please verify with your local wildlife agency. Legal shooting-hour offsets and season dates vary by state and species and change year to year. First Light does not include per-state regulation data or season dates — it's a sunrise/sunset calculator with a user-adjustable offset, not a substitute for your state's official regulations. There is nothing to sign into. Your coordinates are used to work out where the sun sits for that spot, and we never receive them. With a signal, a copy rounded to about a kilometre goes to MET Norway, the Norwegian weather service, to fetch the forecast. The banner is served blind -- no targeting, nothing about you attached.
