# Pendar vs SeSeScan

The clearest difference is update cadence: SeSeScan at every 2 days against Pendar's every 3 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pendar sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and SeSeScan sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pendar ships an update every 3 weeks, SeSeScan every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
