# Chat Note vs tetrify

The clearest difference is rating: tetrify at 4.8 against Chat Note's 2.0. tetrify also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 6 days vs every 2 months). Chat Note's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 86%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Chat Note sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and tetrify sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

tetrify holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: tetrify has 60 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Chat Note's written reviews are positive against 86% of tetrify's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Chat Note ships an update every 2 months, tetrify every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
