# AppCrypt vs LimitX

The clearest difference is rating: AppCrypt at 5.0 against LimitX's 4.3. LimitX's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 88%). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AppCrypt sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and LimitX sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AppCrypt holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 6 and 4 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 88% of AppCrypt's written reviews are positive against 100% of LimitX's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

AppCrypt ships an update every 2 weeks, LimitX weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
