# StreetSmart by Amica™ vs PetValid

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: StreetSmart by Amica™ at none against PetValid's 2. StreetSmart by Amica™ also leads on ratings volume (1.2K vs 1). PetValid's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs every 16 months) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PetValid sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. StreetSmart by Amica™ asks for nothing beyond the download.

PetValid holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: StreetSmart by Amica™ has 1.2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
