# Bluebird vs PenTest+ Prep

The clearest difference is update cadence: PenTest+ Prep at every 2 days against Bluebird's every 3 months. Bluebird's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bluebird sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and PenTest+ Prep sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Bluebird ships an update every 3 months, PenTest+ Prep every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
