# Subsational vs Fan Munch

The clearest difference is rating: Fan Munch at 5.0 against Subsational's 4.6. Fan Munch also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 5 weeks). Subsational's advantage is ratings volume (10 vs 2). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Fan Munch holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Subsational has 10 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Subsational ships an update every 5 weeks, Fan Munch every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
