# Subsational vs Holy Toast

The clearest difference is rating: Holy Toast at 5.0 against Subsational's 4.6. Holy Toast also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks). Subsational's advantage is ratings volume (10 vs 2) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Holy Toast holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Subsational has 10 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Subsational ships an update every 5 weeks, Holy Toast every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
