# fGet vs File Miner

fGet and File Miner both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of File Miner's written reviews are positive against 66% of fGet's. File Miner also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). fGet's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (993 vs 15). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. fGet sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and File Miner sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for fGet against 4.5 for File Miner. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: fGet has 993 ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two.
