# fGet vs ShiftLedger

The clearest difference is ads: ShiftLedger at none against fGet's shown. ShiftLedger also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 3 weeks) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). fGet's advantage is ratings volume (992 vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. fGet sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and ShiftLedger sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ShiftLedger holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: fGet has 992 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

fGet ships an update every 3 weeks, ShiftLedger every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
