# Backtrack Location Logging vs Coverage Map

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Coverage Map at 68% against Backtrack Location Logging's 0%. Coverage Map also leads on ratings volume (798 vs 2). Backtrack Location Logging's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Backtrack Location Logging holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Coverage Map has 798 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Backtrack Location Logging's written reviews are positive against 68% of Coverage Map's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
