# Bluebird vs Shotef

The clearest difference is update cadence: Shotef at every 10 days against Bluebird's every 3 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bluebird sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Shotef sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Bluebird ships an update every 3 months, Shotef every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
