# Wander vs Umoozi

The clearest difference is ads: Wander at none against Umoozi's shown. Wander also leads on ratings volume (1.2K vs 2) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 4 months). Umoozi's advantage is monetization model (ad-supported vs paid) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Umoozi holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wander has 1.2K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Wander ships an update every 6 weeks, Umoozi every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
