# Wander vs Nofie

The clearest difference is monetization model: Nofie at free against Wander's paid. Nofie also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Wander's advantage is ratings volume (1.2K vs 5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Nofie holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wander has 1.2K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Wander ships an update every 6 weeks, Nofie fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
