# Wander vs Swiftstay

The clearest difference is rating: Wander at 4.8 against Swiftstay's 4.2. Wander also leads on ratings volume (1.2K vs 5). Swiftstay's advantage is monetization model (free vs paid) and update cadence (weekly vs every 6 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Wander holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wander has 1.2K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Wander ships an update every 6 weeks, Swiftstay weekly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
