# Life vs Long

The clearest difference is update cadence: Long at every 2 weeks against Life's every 2 months. Long also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Life ships an update every 2 months, Long every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 24, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
