# FantasyGuru vs Bench'd

The clearest difference is update cadence: Bench'd at every 2 weeks against FantasyGuru's every 4 months. FantasyGuru's advantage is review sentiment (77% vs 50%) and ratings volume (1.8K vs 4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

FantasyGuru holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FantasyGuru has 1.8K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 77% of FantasyGuru's written reviews are positive against 50% of Bench'd's.

FantasyGuru ships an update every 4 months, Bench'd every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
