# Noble Notes vs MyNotes

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Noble Notes at 100% against MyNotes's 40%. Noble Notes also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). MyNotes's advantage is monetization model (freemium vs subscription) and update cadence (every 3 months vs every 16 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Noble Notes sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month and MyNotes sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $14.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Noble Notes holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MyNotes has 46 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of Noble Notes's written reviews are positive against 40% of MyNotes's.

Noble Notes ships an update every 16 months, MyNotes every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
