# Font Maker vs Fonts Style

Font Maker and Fonts Style both sit at 4.4 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Fonts Style's written reviews are positive against 20% of Font Maker's. Fonts Style also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 4 weeks). Font Maker's advantage is ratings volume (8.2K vs 15). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Font Maker sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Fonts Style sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for Font Maker against 4.4 for Fonts Style. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Font Maker has 8.2K ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two.
