# Weatheri vs Thundersnow

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Weatheri at 100% against Thundersnow's 67%. Weatheri also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). Thundersnow's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 24 months) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Thundersnow holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 6 and 5 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Weatheri's written reviews are positive against 67% of Thundersnow's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Weatheri ships an update every 24 months, Thundersnow every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on September 26, 2026.
