# Training Connect vs Otoos

The clearest difference is rating: Otoos at 5.0 against Training Connect's 3.5. Otoos also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 4 months). Training Connect's advantage is ratings volume (43 vs 4) and iOS requirement (12.2 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Otoos holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Training Connect has 43 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Training Connect ships an update every 4 months, Otoos every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
