# Training Connect vs Field Bend

The clearest difference is rating: Field Bend at 4.7 against Training Connect's 3.5. Field Bend also leads on update cadence (every 9 days vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (311 vs 49). Training Connect's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 25%) and in-app purchases (none vs 6). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Field Bend sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Training Connect asks for nothing beyond the download.

Field Bend holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Field Bend has 311 ratings behind it against 49, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Training Connect's written reviews are positive against 25% of Field Bend's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Training Connect ships an update every 4 months, Field Bend every 9 days. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
