# Training Connect vs MeterOff

The clearest difference is rating: MeterOff at 5.0 against Training Connect's 3.5. MeterOff also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 67%) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 4 months). Training Connect's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MeterOff holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Training Connect has 43 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 67% of Training Connect's written reviews are positive against 100% of MeterOff's.

Training Connect ships an update every 4 months, MeterOff every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on September 23, 2026 and September 19, 2026 respectively.
