# XKey vs PrivTalk

The clearest difference is update cadence: XKey at every 2 weeks against PrivTalk's every 3 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. XKey sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and PrivTalk sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $38.00 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

XKey ships an update every 2 weeks, PrivTalk every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
