# World Clock Plus Widgets vs Elsewhere

The clearest difference is monetization model: Elsewhere at free against World Clock Plus Widgets's subscription. Elsewhere also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months). World Clock Plus Widgets's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15 vs 26.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. World Clock Plus Widgets sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month and Elsewhere sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

World Clock Plus Widgets ships an update every 3 months, Elsewhere every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
