# MINNECT vs DDW Designs

The clearest difference is monetization model: DDW Designs at free against MINNECT's free with in-app purchases. MINNECT's advantage is ratings volume (2.5K vs 1). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for MINNECT against 5.0 for DDW Designs. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MINNECT has 2.5K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

MINNECT ships an update every 9 days, DDW Designs every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
