# Up Ahead vs iAutomate

The clearest difference is update cadence: Up Ahead at every 5 weeks against iAutomate's every 3 months. iAutomate's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Up Ahead sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month and iAutomate sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Up Ahead ships an update every 5 weeks, iAutomate every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
