# COS.TV vs e

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: COS.TV at none against e's 3. e's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 5 months) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. e sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. COS.TV asks for nothing beyond the download.

COS.TV ships an update every 5 months, e every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
