# Mistero VPN vs 20/20 Focus

The clearest difference is rating: 20/20 Focus at 5.0 against Mistero VPN's 4.4. 20/20 Focus also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ads (none vs shown). Mistero VPN's advantage is ratings volume (1.1K vs 2) and chart position (#197 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mistero VPN sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and 20/20 Focus sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

20/20 Focus holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mistero VPN has 1.1K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 75% of Mistero VPN's written reviews are positive against 100% of 20/20 Focus's.

Mistero VPN ships an update every 2 weeks, 20/20 Focus fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
