# MuffinTerm vs MyQRShare

The clearest difference is monetization model: MyQRShare at free against MuffinTerm's paid. MyQRShare also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 weeks). MuffinTerm's advantage is ratings volume (40 vs 1) and device support (4 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for MuffinTerm against 5.0 for MyQRShare. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MuffinTerm has 40 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

MuffinTerm ships an update every 3 weeks, MyQRShare every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
