# Brilliant Bible vs Scripture First

The clearest difference is update cadence: Scripture First at every 5 days against Brilliant Bible's monthly. Brilliant Bible's advantage is ratings volume (4.5K vs 91) and review sentiment (44% vs 33%). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Brilliant Bible sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Scripture First sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Brilliant Bible against 4.7 for Scripture First. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Brilliant Bible has 4.5K ratings behind it against 91, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 44% of Brilliant Bible's written reviews are positive against 33% of Scripture First's.

Brilliant Bible ships an update monthly, Scripture First every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
