# Bible Notebook vs Scriptur

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Bible Notebook at 331 against Scriptur's 5. Scriptur's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 86%). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bible Notebook sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Scriptur sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Bible Notebook against 4.8 for Scriptur. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bible Notebook has 331 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 86% of Bible Notebook's written reviews are positive against 100% of Scriptur's.

Bible Notebook ships an update every 2 weeks, Scriptur monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
