# Student Seats vs Student Section LLC

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Student Section LLC at 88% against Student Seats's 38%. Student Seats's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.5) and ratings volume (609 vs 36). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Student Seats holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Student Seats has 609 ratings behind it against 36, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 38% of Student Seats's written reviews are positive against 88% of Student Section LLC's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Student Seats ships an update every 2 weeks, Student Section LLC every 9 days. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
