# Telecable vs Purdy Connect

The clearest difference is rating: Purdy Connect at 5.0 against Telecable's 1.0. Purdy Connect also leads on iOS requirement (15.0.0 vs 18.0). Telecable's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (14 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Purdy Connect holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Telecable has 14 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Telecable ships an update every 2 weeks, Purdy Connect every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
