# Lemon Diary vs Cute notes

Lemon Diary and Cute notes both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Cute notes's written reviews are positive against 80% of Lemon Diary's. Lemon Diary's advantage is ratings volume (1.2K vs 58). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lemon Diary sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Cute notes sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Lemon Diary against 4.7 for Cute notes. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lemon Diary has 1.2K ratings behind it against 58, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 80% of Lemon Diary's written reviews are positive against 100% of Cute notes's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
