# XTREAM IPTV vs IPTV Player

The clearest difference is ads: IPTV Player at none against XTREAM IPTV's shown. IPTV Player also leads on update cadence (daily vs every 3 weeks). XTREAM IPTV's advantage is ratings volume (1K vs 31) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. XTREAM IPTV sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and IPTV Player sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

IPTV Player holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: XTREAM IPTV has 1K ratings behind it against 31, so its average is the more settled of the two.

XTREAM IPTV ships an update every 3 weeks, IPTV Player daily. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
