# InviCam vs Discreet

InviCam and Discreet both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 56% of Discreet's written reviews are positive against 12% of InviCam's. Discreet also leads on ratings volume (2.1K vs 270) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. InviCam sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Discreet sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for InviCam against 4.4 for Discreet. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Discreet has 2.1K ratings behind it against 270, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 12% of InviCam's written reviews are positive against 56% of Discreet's.

InviCam ships an update every 3 weeks, Discreet every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
