# Wonderpack vs ZIP

The clearest difference is rating: ZIP at 4.5 against Wonderpack's 3.7. ZIP also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 6 weeks) and ratings volume (256 vs 6). Wonderpack's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 6) and review sentiment (75% vs 55%). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ZIP sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Wonderpack asks for nothing beyond the download.

ZIP holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ZIP has 256 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Wonderpack's written reviews are positive against 55% of ZIP's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Wonderpack ships an update every 6 weeks, ZIP weekly. The most recent releases landed on September 23, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
