# MediaMaster® Remote vs MyMaptuner

The clearest difference is rating: MediaMaster® Remote at 4.8 against MyMaptuner's 4.2. MyMaptuner's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 60%) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 4 months). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MediaMaster® Remote holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 9 and 5 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of MediaMaster® Remote's written reviews are positive against 100% of MyMaptuner's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MediaMaster® Remote ships an update every 4 months, MyMaptuner every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
