# MediaMaster® Remote vs Golf

The clearest difference is update cadence: Golf at every 3 days against MediaMaster® Remote's every 4 months. MediaMaster® Remote's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (16 vs 18.5). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MediaMaster® Remote ships an update every 4 months, Golf every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
