# Seagull IM vs Mosavi

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Seagull IM at 87% against Mosavi's 32%. Mosavi's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 13) and ads (none vs shown). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Seagull IM sells 13 one-off in-app purchases. Mosavi asks for nothing beyond the download.

Mosavi holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 3.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 46 and 88 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 87% of Seagull IM's written reviews are positive against 32% of Mosavi's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
