# Cutting Edge Testing vs LaserAway Mobile

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Cutting Edge Testing at 100% against LaserAway Mobile's 35%. Cutting Edge Testing also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). LaserAway Mobile's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.2) and ratings volume (3.1K vs 5). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

LaserAway Mobile holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LaserAway Mobile has 3.1K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Cutting Edge Testing's written reviews are positive against 35% of LaserAway Mobile's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. Both last shipped on October 23, 2026.
