This app duplicates the MOB button on your Chartplotter. It works without an iPhone or internet connection and can be launched with one touch on your Apple Watch. It takes a GPS point at the sea according to your direction and speed, and time delay for finding the signal. This way it always saves the exact GPS point where you pushed the button. It is constantly showing the true course to the point, distance to the point, and time at the water, since the point was set. The graphics in the app will help you see your position towards the point. If you fail to pick the person from the water you can correct his position by resetting position, while passing by. This application can provide essential assistance during training MOB on the water, especially at night or in restricted visibility conditions. All the coordinates are saved in the Watch memory and will be uploaded to iCloud. This way the last point is always saved in the memory of the watch and you will get your data even after the app restart.

Race tracking for the whole fleet, on the phone you already carry. Hit Start before the gun, race, hit Stop: WakeRoute puts everyone who sailed with you into one result with standings, a replay of the race, start-line and tack analysis, and a race video to share. No dedicated tracker to buy, no subscription, no account. Every boat with the app is on the board. RESULTS THE MOMENT YOU STOP • Boats that raced together are grouped automatically, per fleet, with standings, elapsed times and gaps • Replay the race on the map: every boat, the marks, the wind, play and scrub at any speed • Live tracking: the result fills in while boats are still racing, so the shore can follow along • Results open in the app and on the web, with a link anyone can open, no download needed START LINE AND RACE ANALYSIS • Start tab: when every boat crossed the line against the gun, distance behind the line, speed and heading at the gun, line bias and the first mark • Every tack and jibe with speed in and out, recovery time and distance lost • Leg-by-leg comparison, polar chart, and any two boats side by side: speed, VMG, course, heel and every instrument channel • Wind inferred from the fleet's tacks and checked against weather models and nearby stations BUILT FOR RACE DAY • Start timer with RC End and Pin End pings, sync to the minute, and next-race countdowns • Record the whole day in one go: each race gets its own line, and your countdown becomes the race start • Configurable instruments screen, Lock Screen and Dynamic Island while you race • Club series: pick tonight's course and your fleet, and results come out per fleet • Set or fix the start line, gun time, marks and finish line from the phone; the website shows the same setup • Coach and RC boat mode to set the line without appearing in the results APPLE WATCH AND BOAT INSTRUMENTS • Start, run the countdown, ping the line and stop from your wrist; the Watch records on its own when the phone stays ashore • Record straight from your boat's NMEA 0183 instruments over Wi-Fi: heel, wind, speed through water, depth and heading, with one-tap presets for common systems SHARE THE RACE • Cinematic race video: satellite map, a camera that follows the fleet, the wind, story callouts and a finish card, in 9:16, 1:1 or 16:9 • Race data on your own video: speed, VMG, heel and a mini-map laid over a clip you shot on the water • Instagram Stories with your track as a sticker ON IPHONE DUO • The inner screen shows the race map beside the standings, start and analysis, and the home screen puts recording and races side by side RECORDING YOU CAN TRUST • Keeps recording with the screen locked, survives a force-quit, and uploads when you are back in coverage • Warns you if GPS drops out or Location is set to approximate before it costs you a race • Import GPX from Garmin Connect, Strava or Files WakeRoute is free and made by a sailor who races on Lake Michigan.
