# Clock vs WidgetsWiz

The clearest difference is rating: WidgetsWiz at 5.0 against Clock's 2.5. WidgetsWiz also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 9 months). Clock's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ads (none vs shown). On price there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WidgetsWiz sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Clock asks for nothing beyond the download.

WidgetsWiz holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Clock has 20K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 14% of Clock's written reviews are positive against 0% of WidgetsWiz's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Clock ships an update every 9 months, WidgetsWiz every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
