# HiWatchPro vs XRunning

The clearest difference is ratings volume: HiWatchPro at 764 against XRunning's 51. HiWatchPro also leads on monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 3.0 for HiWatchPro against 2.9 for XRunning. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HiWatchPro has 764 ratings behind it against 51, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 15% of HiWatchPro's written reviews are positive against 9% of XRunning's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 27, 2026.
