# PhorestGo vs Airlight

The clearest difference is rating: PhorestGo at 4.8 against Airlight's 3.1. PhorestGo also leads on ratings volume (3K vs 12) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). Airlight's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.5). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

PhorestGo holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PhorestGo has 3K ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 35% of PhorestGo's written reviews are positive against 40% of Airlight's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

PhorestGo ships an update fortnightly, Airlight every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
