# Thinkdrop vs dhakaOS

The clearest difference is update cadence: dhakaOS at weekly against Thinkdrop's every 3 weeks. dhakaOS also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Thinkdrop sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and dhakaOS sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Thinkdrop ships an update every 3 weeks, dhakaOS weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
