# Thinkdrop vs Unloop

The clearest difference is rating: Unloop at 5.0 against Thinkdrop's 4.3. Unloop also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks). Thinkdrop's advantage is ratings volume (35 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Thinkdrop sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Unloop sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Unloop holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Thinkdrop has 35 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Thinkdrop ships an update every 3 weeks, Unloop every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
