# Stereogram Game vs Hook Jam

The clearest difference is rating: Hook Jam at 4.5 against Stereogram Game's 3.7. Hook Jam also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (1.6K vs 23). Stereogram Game's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (56% vs 27%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Stereogram Game sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Hook Jam sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Hook Jam holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hook Jam has 1.6K ratings behind it against 23, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 56% of Stereogram Game's written reviews are positive against 27% of Hook Jam's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Stereogram Game ships an update every 3 months, Hook Jam weekly. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
